Abstrak

This research aims to increase the creativity of young children through decorating white bread activities at PAUD YASINA. The research uses the Kemmis and McTaggart model of Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach which consists of two cycles, each including planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 10 group B children aged 4-5 years. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and documentation, with quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results showed that in cycle 1, 67% of children were in the Not Yet Developing category and 33% were in the Starting to Develop category. After implementing cycle 2, there was a significant increase, with 67% of children reaching the Developing According to Expectations category. The activity of decorating white bread provides an interesting, fun learning experience and supports children's exploration of the materials and tools used. This research concludes that the activity of decorating white bread is effective in increasing the creativity of young children. It is recommended that these creativity-based activities continue to be developed with a variety of other activities to optimize the creative potential of young children.
