Step-by-Step Online Submission Process Authors must strictly follow the 5-step submission process in the Open Journal Systems (OJS):

  1. Step 1 - Starting the Submission: Select the appropriate journal section for your article. Authors must check all items on the Submission Requirements checklist to ensure the manuscript complies with the journal's policies. Authors must also agree to the Copyright Notice and Privacy Statement.

  2. Step 2 - Uploading the Submission: Upload the manuscript file. Ensure the file is in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) and has been strictly formatted according to the INTI TALAFA Journal Template.

  3. Step 3 - Entering the Submission's Metadata: Enter detailed metadata for all authors (First Name, Last Name, Email, Affiliation, and Country). Specify the Principal/Corresponding Contact. Carefully input the Title, Abstract, and Keywords exactly as they appear in the manuscript.

  4. Step 4 - Uploading Supplementary Files: (Optional) Authors may upload supplementary files such as research datasets, source code, high-resolution figures, or a cover letter to the Editor.

  5. Step 5 - Confirming the Submission: Review all the entered information and uploaded files. Click the "Finish Submission" button to finalize the process.

After completing these steps, the corresponding author will receive an automated acknowledgment email. Authors can log in to their accounts at any time to track the progress of their submission through the editorial and peer-review process.
