Author Guidelines

Articles submitted for publication must meet the following requirements:
 
  1. Articles should be related to the theme of management and accounting.
  2. The article is an original work (not containing plagiarism or data fabrication), has not been published in a scientific journal or in book form, and is not being submitted to other periodical journals.
  3. The article is written in standard Indonesian or English with a length of 7000-9000 words, 1,5 cm spacing, Time New Romans font, 11  letter size; and must be submitted to Value Editorial Team by Online Submission at E-Journal portal address: https://e-journal.umc.ac.id/index.php/VL/index ; also via email to:  value@umc.ac.id
  4. Systematic writing of the manuscript includes: (1) The title does not exceed 14 words; (2) Author’s name (without title), accompanied by the name and address of the institution of employment, and e-mail and telephone addresses; (3) Abstract is written in one paragraph, in English and Indonesian, not more than 500 words. Abstract with keywords (3-5 words); (4) Introduction: contains background, literature review and research objectives; (5) Methodology; (6) Results and discussion; (7) Conclusion; And (8) References
  5. The reference citation is written in footnote form.

  6. The bibliography is written alphabetically.

  7. Eligible articles will be selected and edited by editors according to Economica style without changing contents.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

    1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
    2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
    3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
    4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
    5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
    6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
