KONSEP KARAKTER ANAK USIA DINI YANG NORMAL DAN MENYIMPANG PERSPEKTIF MARIA MONTESSORI

Character formation in early childhood is very important because it is the main foundation for their moral, social, and emotional development in the future. However, without us realizing it, character formation and early childhood character defects often occur during childhood. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the concept of normal and deviant early childhood characters from the perspective of Maria Montessori. This research is a library research. The source of data in this study is a book by Maria Montessori entitled The Absorbent Mind. The data collection technique used by the researcher in this study is documentation in the form of previous literature, both research and theory. The data analysis technique used is content analysis where the researcher will reveal the content of a book that describes the situation of the researcher and his society at the time the book was written. The results of this study show that From the results of the study conducted by the researcher, it can be concluded that deviant early childhood character refers to behaviors that do not develop naturally and harmoniously due to obstacles (defects) in their growth environment. A normal child's character reflects a balance of emotions, intelligence, and social skills that develop naturally in a supportive environment.
