PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT (NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA BIDANG STUDI MATEMATIKA DI KELAS IV SD NEGERI 191 PEKANBARU T.P. 2017/2018

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in students' mathematics learning outcomes improved due to the influence of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together ( NHT ) and the conventional learning in the subject matter up space on SD  Negeri 191 Pekanbaru TP 2017/2018 . This research is quasi-experimental research design with two group pre - test and post - test. Its population is around SD Negeri 191 Pekanbaru T.P. 2017/2018 which consists of 8 classes with 4 levels . Sampling was done by cluster random sampling by taking 1 of 4 random random level is the level of IV as the sample with the class as a class experiment IVA and IVB as grade control class . Experimental class numbered 35 people and control classes totaling 35 people . The instrument used to determine student learning outcomes are achievement test in the form of multiple-choice questions as much as 15 four- option answer ( a, b , c , d ) . Treatment given to the experimental class cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together ( NHT ) and grade control with conventional learning . T test of pretest results obtained t < t table ( 0.175 < 1.997 ) , then Ho is accepted it means the ability early in the second grade students alike . Then treated with the experimental class cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together ( NHT ) and grade control with conventional learning . From the results obtained posttest data processing that t = 2.664 and the table = 1.669 , so that t > t table then Ha is accepted In other words that cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is more powerful than conventional learning in improving student learning outcomes .
