UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS IV DENGAN MENERAPKAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL)
Abstract
This study aims to describe data on: (1) the activity of fourth grade students by applying the model of Problem Based Learning and (2) the ability of mathematical representation of fourth grade students by applying Problem Based Learning model. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students in one of the public elementary schools in Subang. The research method used is classroom action research with Kemmis & Mc design. Taggart is done in two cycles. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation and test. The result of this research are: (1) In general, the activity of fourth grade students by applying the model of Problem Based Learning has increased and (2) In general, the application of Problem Based Learning model can improve the mathematical representation ability of fourth grade students.
