TASK BASED LEARNING: SIX TYPES OF TASK FOR TEACHING LEARNING LANGUAGE IN THE NEW NORMAL

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this article is to describe task based learning and six types of task which designed by Willis. These tasks refer to a communicative purpose and contextual teaching and learning language. The problems of this article are most of teachers move to work-from-home mode and get number of problems what appropriate tasks for teaching language in the new normal. The results of this article are that task-based learning offer real situation and proper implemented tasks in which teachers can integrate tasks both in the classroom and online learning or it is called blanded learning. It also helps student study from home mode in learning language proficiency while the new normal has been implemented.
