PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MELALUI MODEL PAIR CHECK BERMODIFIKASI SEND A PROBLEM MATERI TRANSFORMASI GEOMETRI

Abstract

Abstrak: Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah apakah pembelajaran matematika melalui model pair check bermodifikasi send a problem dapat meningkatkan keaktifan, keterampilan, dan prestasi belajar peserta didik materi transformasi geometri XII.MIPA.1 semester 1 SMAN 1 Tanjung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016?. Penelitian dilaksanakan dua siklus. Hasil menunjukan adanya peningkatan keaktifan, keterampilan, dan prestasi belajar peserta didik dengan KKM = 75 sebesar 36,36%. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 1 diperoleh besaran keaktifan 57,58%, keterampilan 69,70%, dan prestasi belajar peserta didik 57,58%. Sedang siklus 2 keaktifan 100%, keterampilan 100%, dan prestasi belajar 96,97%. Dari hasil siklus 1 dan siklus 2 dapat disimpulkan bahwa prestasi belajar peserta didik mencapai target ketuntasan klasikal yang ditetapkan. Peningkatan hasil ditandai juga dengan meningkatnya rata-rata keaktifan belajar dari 68,26 menjadi 80,08; keterampilan dari 70,53 menjadi 80,05; dan prestasi belajar meningkat dari 66,64 menjadi 78,68. Hasil di atas menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran melalui model pair check bermodifikasi send a problem dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika materi transformasi geometri di kelas XII

Abstract: The formulation of the problem of this study is whether the learning of mathematics through the pair check model modified with send a problem can increase the activeness, skills, and learning achievement of students in geometry transformation material XII.MIPA.1 semester 1 of SMAN 1 Tanjung in the academic year 2015/2016 ?. The study was conducted in two cycles. The results showed an increase in activeness, skills, and learning achievement of students with KKM = 75 of 36.36%. The results of the study in cycle 1 obtained the magnitude of activity of 57.58%, 69.70% skills, and student achievement of 57.58%. While cycle 2 is 100% active, 100% skill, and learning achievement 96.97%. From the results of cycle 1 and cycle 2 it can be concluded that the students' learning achievement reaches the set classical classical completeness. Improved results are also marked by an increase in the average of learning activeness from 68.26 to 80.08; skills from 70.53 to 80.05; and learning achievement increased from 66.64 to 78.68. The results above show that learning through the pair check model modified with send a problem can improve mathematics learning achievement in geometry transformation material in class XII
