Abstract

Motivation can make a person more eager to achieve. This study aims to describe about learning motivation of elementary school students in full day school learning system. The research used is qualitative research with descriptive method and implemented in SDIT Al Rasyid Pekanbaru City. This study began with observation to see the implementation of the system of learning full day school, then with data collection using questionnaires that have been validated and tested the validity and reliability. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using Miles and Huberman models.. The results showed that the students' learning motivation with full day school learning system is good. Student learning motivation full day school is good because of several factors, including teacher, parents, and school environment. With the support of parents, teachers, and the environment does not cause students to give up in learning. Students feel learning is fun even though they are in school from morning to evening. Facilities and learning process full day school is the main factor of the students' motivation level of good and awake.
