IDENTIFIKASI GAYA BELAJAR MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI PGSD STKIP NU INDRAMAYU
Abstract
This study aims to identify the learning styles of students of PGSD STKIP Nahdlatul Ulama Indramayu. Learning style is one of important component that must be considered in determining the accuracy of the use of methods or learning models. This certainly has an impact on the success or failure of a lesson. Based on preliminary data in the field shows that the final score on the basic science concept, students who get the C value of 83% and who got a B value of 17%. It shows that students still do not understand the learning that has been done for one semester. The method used in this research is survey method. Surveys are used to collect data or information about large populations using relatively small samples. After observation of preliminary data, followed by the making of instrument in the form of questionnaire which then tested and validated. From the result of identification of learning style of student of PGSD STKIP NU Indramayu program, the students of study program have visual learning style which is 36 (51,43%) from 70 students, 19 students or 27,14% have kinesthetic learning type and as many as 15 students or 21.43% have a kinesthetic learning style type. this indicates that the students of PGSD STKIP NU Indramayu study program prefer learning by using interesting picture and video media, students also prefer to read books that not only display the text but also displays interesting drawing illustrations.
