Character Education is the interesting topic in era globalization for nowadays. Social phenomenon often showed decrease moral attitude young generation it be purposed of education that written in constitution number 20 0f 2003 years and nation ideals not realized, so character education became indicator in every knowledge study. Developing character education in mathematics learning can be realized by development content of mahematics study, choosing approach, method, or strategie of learning that will be used, and by the processed of learning mathematics. This articel will talk about character planting by mathematics learning with use scientific approach base on contextual learning which corresponding with the purpose of education and nation ideals.
