Abstract

The substance of character education is humanizing human beings, placing humanity at the highest level by maximizing work, taste and intention. The most fatal failure of education is when the results of education that no longer have a sense of conscience based on morality to the people around him. Education can be done in families, schools and communities. Along with the increasingly demanding lifestyle demands parents and teachers in dealing with children. and the magnitude of effect of change of behavioral value of children in society caused by uncontrolled child in gatget usage, hence role of school to participate to learn the character values of learners bigger. Parents rely heavily and expect that teachers at school can help them develop moral values and value systems in their children. Primary schools become a strategic place in shaping, training and developing character through the planting of moral values taught. Schools can not only maintain a high standard of academic quality but based on the values of character education that become a school priority. At school it is expected that students learn to actualize themselves based on the values they receive directly. The cultivation of these values becomes the reference of character education success in school
