PEMANFAATAN PENDIDIKAN NILAI KARAKTER DAN BUDAYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ETNOMATEMATIKA
Abstract
Value education or character and culture should always be instilled in learners because it will be more attached and meaningful in everyday life. Mathematics essentially has a cultural element in which produce the work , taste and human creation. While mathematics is a science that based on reason or logic of thinking associated with real object and abstract so that requires a good . Concept of planting to survive in his understanding through learning that involves the cultural elements of the learner is implanted with the character values directed to produce innovative work and no longer regard mathematics as a tense subject . However not many teachers or learner are'nt aware of the exiting culture in the school environment so that no maximum utilization or even no use at all . This lack of use due to teachers and learners have not understood the meaning of culture that is used in learning mathematics is called Etnomathematics. Based in these fact, etnomathics is present to bridge between culture and education in the hope of exploiting the eleven of values if character and culture in the learning of mathematics. This ethnomatamatics become an effort in the cultivation if concept by utilizing culture values on learning mathematic.
