PEMANFAATAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ONLINE BERBASIS BLOG DALAM MENINGKATKAN KREATIFITAS MENULIS SISWA KELAS TUJUH MTs AL-INSAN

Abstract

The era of globalization has brought rapid development in information and communication technology, including education. One of the most interesting information and communication technology products to be utilized in learning process is Web Blog or commonly referred to as Blog. In learning process, creativity is needed from the teacher. In fact many teachers still use conventional media. Writing is a skill that accentuates the power of reason or logic. Students with good logic have good language skills; however, students with good language skills do not all have good logic or reasoning skills. That is why writing skills become the main obstacle felt in language learning. Junior high school students were transitional students with varying degrees of ability and motivation for writing activities. This research describes blog as an online learning media in improving the writing skill of seventh grade students Mts. Al-Insan. This research is a qualitative research with case study approach through observation, interview and document study. The results of this study show that blogs can stimulate students' creativity, interest and motivation to write, they are competing to post writing as interesting as possible from their friends to get the number of visits as much as possible. In addition through the blog, the ability to write increasingly, who initially just imitate and trace the blog from their favorite bloggers into writing full of ideas with their own writing style. Blogs also indirectly increase interest in reading among them, in terms of searching ideas and writing materials.
