PENANAMAN KARAKTER SISWA MELALUI TRANSFER NILAI-NILAI PANCASILA PADA MATA PELAJARAN BUDI PEKERTI
Abstract
Pancasila is a role model that must be basis for every citizen both in attitude and behaving. The characters taught in Pancasila are very deep, where Pancasila itself explores the various characters that each student must possess and instill. One of the efforts to return the awareness of the moral values of the nation's ideology, the education of Budi Pekerti needs to be initiated to transfer the values of Pancasila as the cultivation of student character. Implementation of character education in schools should be implemented throughout the school community which is poured into the school curriculum by taking into account the cultural values of the nation, through learning in the classroom. The character value of the nation consists of 18 pillars of character value. Gunawan (2012: 74-75) states that Pancasila as the core character of the Indonesian nation. Based on various research results and research studies that many published, the values of Pancasila is very very good as the foundation of student character cultivation. Technically, the application of character education in schools at least can be reached through several integrated alternatives. School seeks to explore and pass on the values and ethics that are sourced from local wisdom in building the life of the nation. Therefore, it should be the school curriculum, giving greater attention to the education of the nation's character than the previous period curriculum. Thus formed the character of a good nation through the values of pancasila which is applied in the learning of character. Character education is based on the behavior of students in the classroom and at school.
