Abstract

Food security issue is still the main focus to resolve nutritional problems, which caused by food inavailability. Vegetable consumptions among Indonesian people were not yet reached the daily consumption which dominated by school children and teenagers. One thing can attract interest in consuming vegetables is farming with microgreen cultivation. Adding elements to agricultural land can increase crop production. Tofu dregs are solid waste that still have quite high protein content. To reduce industrial waste, tofu dregs will be used as compost, to optimize the nutritional value of the products produced. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge that healthy food can be obtained from easy and efficient agricultural activities. The method of this activity are lecture method, material delivery then question and answer. It was found that counseling which accompanied by discussions had a positive impact on understanding of the use of tofu dregs and microgreen cultivation. So it is hoped that the younger generation can develop a passion for consuming vegetables to achieve optimal health.
