PROSES KONVERSI AGAMA (STUDI KASUS PADA PEMUDA YANG MEMUTUSKAN BERHIJRAH)

Abstract

Konversi agama menurut etimologi konversi berasal dari kata lain “ Conversio” yang berarti : tobat, pindah, dan berubah. Selanjutnya, kata tersebut dipakai dalam kata inggris Conversion yang mengandung pengertian berubah dari satu keadaan ke keadaan lain. .ya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara semi terstruktur. Informan dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara purposive sampling yang berjumlah lima orang dan berjenis kelamin laki-laki,memiliki perilaku masa lalu yang menyimpang dari nilai agama dan nilai sosial. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa penyebab dan proses suatu konversi agama berupa adanya gejolak dalam diri individu berupa permasalahan yang membuat dirinya bingung. Kemudian setelah itu memutuskan untuk kembali ke jalan yang benar dan meninggalkan perbuatan dosa yang selama ini dilakukanya, dalam proses hijrahnya subjek mendapatkan seperti kebutuhan akan agama dalam dirinya, dukungan teman sebaya, pengaruh lingkungan baru, stimulus, evaluasi diri, dan kontrol diri, setelah subjek behrijrah subjek mendapatkan hasil berupa ketenangan batin, perubahan perilaku dan hubungan baik dengan keluarganya.

Religious conversion according to the etymology of conversion comes from another word "Conversio" which means: repentance, conversion, and change. In this context, religious conversion shows a change in a person's attitude towards his own religion, a change or change in one's attitude is caused by problems in his religion, this shows an increase in the understanding or practice of someone whose religion is; For example, a person is not obedient to carry out his religious practices, but after the incident of religious conversion (change) in his attitude, he becomes obedient in carrying out his religion. This study aims to describe the process of religious conversion in individuals and the factors that support it. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Collecting data using semi-structured interview techniques. The information in this study was selected by purposive sampling which can be said that five people and male gender have past behavior that deviates from religious values ??and social values. From this research, it is found that the cause and process of religious conversion is in the form of turmoil in the individual in the form of problems that make him confused. Then after that decide to return to the right path and leave the action, in the process of hijrah the subject gets such as the need for religion in himself, peer support, new environmental influences, stimulus, self-evaluation, and self-control, after the subject behrijrah the subject gets the results. in the form of inner calm, changes in behavior and good relations with his family.
