PROGRAM AKTIVITAS FISIK DI PAGI HARI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS TIDUR LANSIA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

The phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the decline in the quality of sleep for the elderly due to anxiety factors and a decrease in the level of physical fitness of the elderly. From the above phenomenon, it is necessary to have a solution for physical activity programs to minimize anxiety levels and to improve the physical fitness of the elderly so that they can improve the quality of sleep for the elderly during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of a physical activity program in the morning on improving the sleep quality of the elderly. This study uses an experimental method in the form of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The research subjects were the elderly living in the Cirebon Regency area who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The results of the research on the pretest obtained an average for the experimental group that is 10.47, the posttest obtained an average for the experimental group that is 21.27 and the results of the exercise obtained an average of 10.80. Data analysis technique using hypothesis testing through significance test with the result that is greater than where > = 38.617 > 1.761. The conclusion of this study is that the physical activity program in the morning has a significant influence on the sleep quality of the elderly during the covid-19 pandemic.
