Analysis Of Nutrition Status, Fitness, And Heart Rate Frequency Volleyball Players Of SMAN 4 Madiun

This study intends to analyze the nutritional status, body fitness and heart rate of
volleyball players at SMAN 4 Kota Madiun. This study uses a qualitative descriptive.
Eight male students of volleyball extracurricular in SMAN 4 Kota Madiun. Data analysis
using interactive analysis techniques. Body Mass Index (BMI) is used to nutritional
status, TKJI is used to fitness test and oximeter is used to heart rate monitor. The results
in the study were the nutritional status of male volleyball players at SMAN 4 Madiun was
included in the normal category with the anthropometric formula for body mass index
(BMI) the results were 7 respondents (87.5%) in the normal category and 1 respondent
(12.5%) with mild underweight. The TKJI test (physical fitness test) showed that the
majority of students were in the very good category. The results of tests using an oximeter
were carried out before and after physical activity showed that male volleyball players at
SMAN 4 Madiun 100% experienced an increase in heart rate. Student Volleyball player
has normal category nutritional status and very good fitness.
