Rheumatic disease is a disease that attacks the joints and the supporting structures or
tissues around the joints. The most common rheumatic diseases are osteoarthritis due to

Ain this research is to determine the effect of rheumatic exercise on the reduction of joint pain
in the elderly in the Kaliwedi Public Health Center, Cirebon Regency.
The type of research is analytic with a quasi-experiment design. The number of samples as
many as 28 respondents who were taken using total sampling. The data collection in this study
used a questionnaire using the Wilcoxon analysis technique.
The intervention group used the Wilcoxon test, the intervention group obtained a p value of
0.001 < a (0.05) meaning that there was an effect of rheumatic exercise on reducing joint pain
in the elderly and the group. The control obtained a p value of 0.157> a (0.05), which means
that there is no effect of rheumatic exercise on reducing joint pain in the elderly.
