ABSTRACT
This research is motivated by the phenomenon of verbal and relational bullying behavior among 4th-grade students at SDN 1 Kalipasung and the lack of engaging character education media. The purpose of this study is to analyze the significant effect of using audio-visual media on improving students' anti-bullying attitudes. The research method used is quantitative with a Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research population was all 4th-grade students of SDN 1 Kalipasung, totaling 44 students, using a total sampling technique. Data collection used an anti-bullying attitude questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used the Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that the average score of students' attitudes before treatment was at 59.54 (low category), then increased significantly to 74.26 (high category) after being given audio-visual media treatment. The statistical test results prove that there is a significant effect with a significance value of <0.05. Thus, audio-visual media is recommended as an effective character education tool in elementary schools to reduce bullying from an early age.
