Abstract

Metode pembayaran digital menawarkan alternatif solusi untuk menjadikan transaksi lebih cepat, murah dan aman. Namun laporan statistik menunjukan literasi pembayaran digital pelaku usaha masih rendah walaupun sejumlah upaya sudah dilakukan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beberapa karakteristik individu, rumah tangga dan wirausaha yang dapat meningkatkan kemungkinan penggunaan pembayaran digital oleh pelaku usaha. Dengan mengolah data Survei Rumah Tangga Ekonomi Digital Indonesia (DEHS) 2020 dari Bank Dunia yang dirilis tahun 2022 dan melakukan estimasi menggunakan Model Probabilitas Linier (LPM) serta regresi Probit, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa wirausaha yang merupakan lulusan perguruan tinggi, sudah teregistrasi dan menggunakan media sosial untuk penjualan online, memiliki kemungkinan penggunaan pembayaran digital lebih tinggi. Studi ini juga menemukan bahwa kemungkinan penggunaan pembayaran digital menurun pada beberapa kelompok umur, meskipun dengan tingkat pengaruh dan signifikansi yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap literatur dengan mengkaji penggunaan pembayaran digital dari sisi wirausaha di Indonesia dimana studi terkait terkait hal ini masih terbatas.
