Analisis Kelayakan Usaha Budidaya Jamur Tiram Putih (Pleurotus ostreatus) (Studi Kasus : Usaha Tani Surya Kencana, Kabupaten Cirebon)

ABSTRACT

One Indonesian agricultural commodities currently experiencing an imbalance between the demand and the offer is the oyster mushroom. The high demand for mushrooms is not accompanied by an increase in domestic production of mushrooms. These conditions provide opportunities for oyster mushroom farmers in particular Farms Surya Kencana to develop their business. The purpose of this study are : ( 1 ) to analyze the feasibility of developing a white oyster mushroom businesses Farming Surya Kencana seen from the non-financial aspects ; ( 2) to analyze the feasibility of developing a white oyster mushroom businesses Farming Surya Kencana viewed from the financial aspects ; ( 3 ) to analyze the feasibility of the sensitivity of white oyster mushroom Farming Surya Kencana to the decline in the price of fresh oyster mushrooms and higher prices for sawdust.

Primary data were obtained from the owners and managers and employees Farming Surya Kencana, and the general public around the study site. Secondary data were obtained from the internal data in Farming Surya Kencana and related agencies. Data collection is done by direct interview using questionnaires, consultation, dialogue and direct observations.

The analysis showed that based on non-financial aspects of the business is feasible to run. This is because the white oyster mushroom business is high discount market opportunities, suitable climatic conditions, inadequate infrastructure and business impact, both socio-economic and cultural environment of business. Based on the financial aspects, the eligibility criteria oyster mushroom business investment Farms Surya Kencana shows three scenarios feasible and developed. On condition before development obtained NPV value of Rp. 230,210,947.37, the value of the Net B/C of 1.82, the value of Gross B/C of 1.67, IRR of 87 percent and PP for 2 years 2 months 26 days. On the condition of the capacity development plans kumbung oyster mushrooms using bamboo frame obtained NPV value of Rp. 932,558,671.30, the value of the Net B/C at 2.42, the value of Gross B/C at 2.17, IRR of 87 percent and PP for 1 year 1 month 13 days. On the condition of the capacity development plans kumbung oyster mushrooms using timber frames NPV value of Rp. 1,615,882,612.18, the value of the Net B/C of 2.81, the value of Gross B/C at 2.40, IRR of 86 percent and PP for 1 year 29 days.
