Production machines with an automatic sorting system based on color are currently widely used in the industrial world in the production section. These devices are always developed according to the needs that exist in the industry. For now, developing companies are recommended to use a tool that has an automatic system with a classification in the field of industrial automation. The purpose of this study is to create a system based on image processing that sorts colored objects on a conveyor, while placing objects in a container that matches the color of the object which is connected to the ATmega328 microcontroller board system that is already embedded in the Arduino Nano. The method used in sorting is to take the RGB value obtained from the TCS3200 sensor, with a conditioned lighting system. The parameterized RBG value is in accordance with the color of the object being sorted, then the data is stored according to the color group used. In this study, using five colored object colors, namely red, blue, green, orange, and yellow, and placing them in the appropriate container of the five object colors with the help of a servo motor as an object sorter based on these colors. The results of the experiments carried out were a total of 35 tests, consisting of 7 tests for each color. With an average test response time of 90 seconds, 33 of these 35 experiments succeeded in detecting the color of the object followed by the process of sorting colored objects and placing them according to the object's color container. The system 2 times failed to detect because there was a mechanical damage to the conveyor. From the testing of this system, it was declared successful at 94.28%. This can still be tolerated and declared successful.
