PENGARUH KECERDASAN ADVERSITAS (ADVERSITY QUOTIENT) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DI SDN 1 PEKANTINGAN KECAMATAN KLANGENAN KABUPATEN CIREBON

Abstract

Based on previous studies, that known if there are some students that cannot finished mathematic questions, and didn’t do their home work (HW), and didn’t be brave enough to ask to the teacher about the subject that they are did not understand before that effects their mathematics achievement as expected. The aims of this study are to find out (1) how the students Adversity Quotient at SD Negeri 1 Pekantingan Kecamatan Klangenan Kabupaten Cirebon (2) how the students mathematic achievement at SD Negeri 1 Pekantingan Klangenan Kabupaten Cirebon (3) is there any influence of Adversity Quotient to the students mathematic achievement at SD Negeri 1 Pekantingan Klangenan Kabupaten Cirebon. This research used quantitative research method of survey type. The populations of this study which consist of 188 students, while samples were taken from 30% of the population as many as 56 students. Adversity Quotient data were collected by using questionnaires and students mathematic achievement from the first students semester report. The results showed that the level of Adversity Quotient of students classified as a low category, students mathematics achievement classified as a low category, and there is a positive influence between Adversity Quotient to the students mathematics achievement. From the calculation of regression test using SPSS 17 gained the value of t account 2,496 > t tabie 1,671 and Sig value. 0.016 < 0.05, it can be concluded that Ha accepted and H0 rejected. The amount of influence from Adversity Quotient to the students mathematics achievement is 5,15% which it means that the result of mathematics learning SD Negeri 1 Pekantingan 5,15% influenced by Adversity Quotient and the rest 94,85% influenced by other factors.
